Being given the opportunity to be a part of this shoot and get to know Issay was an absolute pleasure. I think I speak for most when I say that when the MK5 supra came out there was a sense of let down that it was being powered by German engineering and not a modern/reincarnated 2jz. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the look. However, it just felt like it was missing something if it was going to carry the name Supra on it. Being around this car (especially with the playful puns) made me realize that maybe the European part of it isn’t such a bad thing. I would still love a MK4 Supra in my possession, but Issay sharing his experience with this beauty has made me realize that a MK5 wouldn’t be all that bad. Plus the yellow is absolutely stunning in the sunlight!
